ABOUT THE ARTIST
Carlos Trigo is a second-year University of Colorado Boulder student, currently majoring in Information Science. Although not much of an "artist", he has always had a fascination for human artistic abilities in all their different forms, including music, photography, album cover art, and everything else a creative mind could produce. Being born in Bolivia back in 2003 and moving to Boulder at the age of 18, Carlos was able to explore the different cultures, ideologies, and lifestyles that these diverse places had to offer, which has now evolved into a dream to travel the world and learn more about this sphere that we humans inhabit. He has a passion for music, is always happy to explore different musical genres, and currently learning how to play the guitar. Currently, Carlos plays professional eSports representing his school in the Nintendo game "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate". He and his teammates were able to get to the finals of the EGF SSBU National Championships, taking home 2nd place. Although he has not been able to explore making art of his own yet, he is eager to learn how to express his thoughts and ideas as a digital art form. This is why this website was created, for him to explore his artistic side and for the reader to join him in this adventure. You might be wondering why the website is called "Wheaty Art" and not something like "Meaty Art". His last name "Trigo" translates from Spanish to English as "Wheat", which is also the main ingredient for white bread, pastries, pasta, and pizza. This is Carlos' favorite hobby; food!
